Pillar To Post™ is always committed to the health and well-being of our clients and homeowners, as well as our inspectors. This is especially true during this time of Covid-19. We remain highly focused on providing the highest quality home inspection while adhering to the strict safety and cleanliness guidelines provided by the CDC and local governments. While our processes may have changed, our commitment to Ensuring Confident Homeownership has not. Our job is not complete until you no longer have questions concerning the home you have asked Pillar To Post™ to inspect.

During his successful career in quality, operations and engineering management, Mark developed a passion for homes through many renovation projects ranging from framing, drywalling, plumbing, electrical, kitchen rebuilds, to modification of support walls. This background led to his purchase of the Oakville Pillar To Post home inspection franchise in 2006 and an expansion of his commitment with the purchase of the Burlington franchise in the fall of 2007. He has completed thousands of inspections and achieved the two highest home inspector certifications available; Registered Home Inspector (RHI) with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and National Certificate Holder (issued by the National Certification Authority for the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors). Mark is a certified trainer for the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) and has delivered Continuing Education Seminars to hundreds of Realtors® on behalf of the Oakville Milton Real Estate Board, Realtors Association of Hamilton Burlington and RECO. With every inspection, he applies his extensive experience and an ability to talk in layman’s terms to give his clients the highest level of service quality. Mark is a proud resident of Halton Region where for the last 30 years he and his wife have had the pleasure of raising their son and daughter.

For buyers, an inspection will help you make an informed decision during the purchase process. It will also provide you with the information you will need for any repairs or maintenance that your new home may require. A professional home inspection will allow you to buy with confidence.

For sellers, a pre-listing inspection can detect previously unknown problems or detect issues that you may wish to address prior to selling your home. Being aware of issues in advance will allow for disclosure of problems, which can result in smoother transactions for all parties.
